Roman continued to build on his strong performance at the CA Spring Camp with another solid outing at Vegas XL in May. He shows that he can hit a college level ball and his consistency is improving. He has the tools to compete at the next level. One to keep a close eye on. Strong punting prospect.Aaron Perez (4-22):
Roman had a good showing at the CA Spring Punt camp. Roman has a very explosive leg and gets downfield very well with his punts. During training at camp Roman hit punts of 56 4.0, 55 3.98 and 45 3.65. Roman hit a god ball direction left 46 3.9 to the numbers. Roman finished tops at camp in distance in his charting by averaging 46.8 over six punts. His best punts were 53 3.6, 50 4.04 and 54 3.61. I would like Roman to work on improving his hangtime by becoming more compact with his footwork. However, the tools and natural ability is there and I am very proud of Roman and excited to help him continue to improve.
