WHOA! Keep a very close eye on Declan over the next couple of years. He had a great day at the Rubio Long Snapping fall camp in NC on November 20th, 2016 and could easily take the top spot in his class, and not let it go, at VEGAS XXIX. He is a monster for his size, moves well on his feet and can already hit in the .7s. Once he gets his eyes through on a more consistent manner and smooths it all out, he will dominate. The potential is off the charts for Declan. Type of body and kid that could make The TOP 12 Camp as a FRESHMAN!

All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality.
RSI (Rubio Standard Index): The RSI is the score divided by the average speed on The Rubio Target. You may obtain 2 bonus points for an average of .75-.79, 2 more bonus points for an average of .70-.74 and an additional 2 more bonus points if you average below .70.
