Player Review
Luke showed me some good potential at the Rubio Long Snapping fall camp in CA on October 30, 2016. He has a solid frame and good starting form. Hands are VERY strong and they show decent quickness. Love to see Luke focus on the laydown drill to get his spiral locked down so the ball slices through the wind and is easier to catch. Slow motion drills will teach him a smooth snapping motion and get his whole body involved. Lots of upside on his strength alone.
Accomplishments
VEGAS XXIX Average 15 Yard Snap Speed: 1.02
VEGAS XXIX 40 Time: 5.86
VEGAS XXIX RSI (Rubio Standard Index) from the Rubio Target: 0

All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality.

RSI (Rubio Standard Index): The RSI is the score divided by the average speed on The Rubio Target. You may obtain 2 bonus points for an average of .75-.79, 2 more bonus points for an average of .70-.74 and an additional 2 more bonus points if you average below .70.
