Player ReviewSanchez was impressive at the Rubio Long Snapping fall camp in CA on October 30, 2016. He is athletic Long Snapper that can already get the ball into the .7s! Strong Long Snapper with good power. Needs to focus on locking down his spiral (lay down drill will help) and making sure he focuses on CONSISTENCY. I have already witnessed him snap a college speed ball and now I want to see it every single time at VEGAS XXIX. Upside is off the charts if he is already snapping this speed at this point. Accuracy and consistency are the two major things I will be checking in January.
Additional InformationVEGAS XXIX Average 15 Yard Snap Speed: .76
VEGAS XXIX 40 Time: 4.87
VEGAS XXIX RSI (Rubio Standard Index) from the Rubio Target: 18.42
All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality.
RSI (Rubio Standard Index): The RSI is the score divided by the average speed on The Rubio Target. You may obtain 2 bonus points for an average of .75-.79, 2 more bonus points for an average of .70-.74 and an additional 2 more bonus points if you average below .70.
