Player Review
Sage did well at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXIX Event on January 14-15, 2017. He has a nice, long frame and does a nice job of getting his long arms through to the punter. He practically hands the ball to the punter. I really like the intensity Sage snaps with and moved with during the agility section. Runs with a purpose. Like to see him focus on slow motion drills to ensure he gets his lower half fully involved to gain some speed on the ball to raise his RSI up by VEGAS 30 in May. Lots of potential on Sage and excited to see him in action in IL on April 23 using ALL of his body. Kid will end up crushing his punter.
Accomplishments
VEGAS XXIX Average 15 Yard Snap Speed: .94
VEGAS XXIX 40 Time: 5.27
VEGAS XXIX RSI (Rubio Standard Index) from the Rubio Target: 12.64

All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality.

RSI (Rubio Standard Index): The RSI is the score divided by the average speed on The Rubio Target. You may obtain 2 bonus points for an average of .75-.79, 2 more bonus points for an average of .70-.74 and an additional 2 more bonus points if you average below .70.
