Aidan showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXIX Event on January 14-15, 2017. He is a thick Long Snapper with powerful hands and he is using his body well. He moves pretty well on his feet and gets low like an athlete. Need to see Aidan focus on locking down his spiral so the ball is easier to catch and making sure his release point is the same on all snaps. He is right on the cusp of really having it all click. I would keep a very close eye on Aidan on March 5th and at VEGAS 30. Good attitude and he works hard.

All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality.
RSI (Rubio Standard Index): The RSI is the score divided by the average speed on The Rubio Target. You may obtain 2 bonus points for an average of .75-.79, 2 more bonus points for an average of .70-.74 and an additional 2 more bonus points if you average below .70.
