Player Review
Really solid showing by Will at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXIX Event on January 14-15, 2017. Will is a strong and large Long Snapper with extremely quick hands. Ball is powerful and I love how his hands jump out of the gate. His snap hovers in the high .7s to low .8s and will be much faster once his legs get fully involved. He is so strong that when his large lower half gets involved he will end up putting a hole in the punter. Need to see Will focus on more legs and getting more athletic on his feet. Better movement forward and laterally will really push him up the rankings and make him a college coach favorite. Keep an eye on him at VEGAS 30....he could easily position himself for a TOP 12 spot.

All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality.
RSI (Rubio Standard Index): The RSI is the score divided by the average speed on The Rubio Target. You may obtain 2 bonus points for an average of .75-.79, 2 more bonus points for an average of .70-.74 and an additional 2 more bonus points if you average below .70.
