Player Review

Evan did really well snapping at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXIX Event on January 14-15, 2017. He snaps a very smooth ball that is easy to catch and has good consistency. Love to see Evan focus on getting his eyes through quicker to gain more accuracy and bump his RSI up more as we get closer to VEGAS 30. Also, increasing his athleticism will make him jump up the rankings quickly. Need to see him move a bit better on his feet to get fully ready for the next level. VERY good attitude and always improving.

Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality.

RSI (Rubio Standard Index): The RSI is the score divided by the average speed on The Rubio Target. You may obtain 2 bonus points for an average of .75-.79, 2 more bonus points for an average of .70-.74 and an additional 2 more bonus points if you average below .70.
