Player Review
I liked what I saw out of Rovetti at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXIX Event on January 14-15, 2017. He has a solid frame and his balance is good on all aspects of snapping. Ball is smooth and catchable for the punter or holder. Love to see him focus on slow motion drills to make sure his timing is perfect to create more overall speed on the ball. Right now, his legs are just a tiny bit behind his arms and that will slow down the ball. Good attitude and he is always improving. Increasing his athleticism will push him up the rankings a ton and make a college love him.
Accomplishments
VEGAS XXIX Average 15 Yard Snap Speed: 1.04
VEGAS XXIX 40 Time: 5.58
VEGAS XXIX RSI (Rubio Standard Index) from the Rubio Target: 23.25

All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality.
