Player Review
Ryan showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXVII Event on January 17-18, 2016. He is a massive man that has come a long with his Long Snapping. Form is solid and he does a good job of using his whole body. Really need to see him focus on widening out his stance to gain more ease of getting his upper body through. He is large and widening out will make him more accurate. Also, making sure he gets through immediately and not up and back will help with speed. Simple fixes that will help a ton in the long run. He works hard and I like his attitude.Ryan had a pretty good day at the Rubio Long Snapping fall camp in TX. He is a very large man with lots of power and he is always improving. He has good RAW POWER. Ball can fly back to the punter. Ryan's biggest issue is he needs to make sure he gets all of weight and power going directly BACK to the punter instead of UP and THEN BACK. When he rises up first, it will cause the ball to die or go very low. Driving his large upper body through and back will put a hole in the punter. Kid is dripping with potential. Love to see him work on his athleticism as well. Love his attitude. Big jump in the rankings.
Ryan had a good weekend and showed me solid snaps at VEGAS XXVI in May. Very large man with quick and powerful hands. Built long. Love to see him get his legs fully involved and make sure he isn't just flipping the ball back to the punter. If he can get his eyes/head through and whip his arms through, he will get more speed on the ball since he is so strong. Good potential. Athletically, he needs to be lighter on his feet so he is an asset getting down field. Very good attitude.
