Aaron Perez (9-24):Lucas made maybe the biggest improvement of anyone at the Fall Los Angeles Punt Camp. His hands look great and his overall rhythm from catch to kick is awesome. During training at camp Lucas hit punts of 44 4.3, 39 4.39 and 43 4.3. During charting his best balls were 39 4.3 and 41 4.37. As Lucas continues to mature physically he will get more distance on his balls but the foundation is there for him to be great.
Lucas is a very talented high school punting prospect. He is a great looking athlete with a strong leg. He has a great frame for a college level punter. Lucas punts for a nice combination of distance and hang time. His best ball measures 45+ yards, with 4.4+ hang time. There is nice potential and upside here. He has all the tools to take his game to the college level. Look for Lucas to have a big senior season. He is a pleasure to work with. Nice prospect.
