Player Review
Mathews is very good high school kicking and punting prospect. He is a great looking athlete with a strong leg. Mathews does a nice job on field goal. He hits an accurate ball off the ground and has 50+ yard range. His kickoffs are coming along nicely, nearing college ready. Mathews is also a developing punter. He has a nice frame for this position. Matthews is showing steady improvement from camp to camp. I expect him to stay on this path. College football is in his future with continued hard work. Look for Matthews to compete with the best of the best at Vegas XLV in January. He is a fine young man who is always a great pleasure to work with. Nice combo prospect.
