Luca had a very impressive CA Fall PuntFactory Camp showing. Luca is tall, has a good swing and is very coachable. He has improved immensely in his power and consistency. During the training portion of camp Luca hit punts of 41 3.8, 41 3.9 and 44 4.25. He hit a great punt going right that went 44 4.09. Luca also had a good charting session at camp with his best punts being 40 3.9 and 46 3.65 in the rain. Luca is able to hit a great drop punt / Louie ball as well and hit several 45+ with 4.2+ seconds of hang-time. With more work on shortening his footwork and a more consistent drop Luca will compete with the top players in this class.

Luca is a talented high school punting and kicking prospect. He is big, tall, strong and athletic. Luca has an ideal frame for a college level punter. He punts for a nice combination of distance and hang time. His best ball measures 45+ yards, with 4.4+ hang time. He is also a solid kicker. Luca does a nice job on the field goal. He hits an accurate ball and has good range. His kickoffs are coming along nicely. There is nice all around upside here. Look for Luca to have a strong junior season. He is a fine young man who is always a great pleasure to work with. Nice combo prospect.
