Aaron Perez (9-24):Jacob had a very solid day at the Fall Los Angeles Punt Camp. His strength and body continue to improve as well as his overall technical ability. During training at camp Jacob hit punts of 46 4.0, 45 3.98 and had a good ball going left 40 4.05. During charting he averaged 42.2 yards on five punts with his best balls being 47 3.65 and 46 3.9. Jacob will be a dominant punter when he learns to swing up through his balls.
Jacob is an excellent young high school kicking and punting prospect. He is a great looking athlete with a strong leg. Jacob does a nice job on field goal. He hits a pure, accurate ball off the ground and has 50+ yard range. His kickoffs are strong. His best ball measures 65+ yards, with 3.8+ hang time. Also a talented punter. Jacob punts for a nice combination of distance and hang time. A competitor who does well under pressure. I look forward to seeing what the future holds. Jacob has outstanding potential. Look for him to dominate his junior season. He is a fine young man with a great attitude and work ethic. Strong combo prospect.
