Player Review
Aaron Perez (10-22):Darius is one of the more unique stories and talents I have seen in some time. His first ever punting or kicking camp was at the 2023 Houston Puntfactory Fall Camp and he blew me away. Three out of his first 10 punts were 5+ seconds of hangtime. Darius hit punts of 49 4.87, 55 5.29, 46 5.05 and 48 5.41. Darius is raw but has an insanely explosive leg. He does cover 4+ yards but once we got him shortened he was much more consistent. During charting Darius averaged 4.46 seconds of hangtime on 6 punts with his best being 45 4.81. It has been a while since a first-time student has had this much potential and raw talent. If Darius works on his technical development and focuses on punting he can be a top top college level punter in the future.
