Aaron Perez (3-24):
Matthew attended the Spring Seattle Punt Camp and had another great showing. I challenged Matthew to take his punting seriously over a year ago and since then he has taken off. Matthew has filled out physically as well and it shows in his punting. During training at the camp Matthew hit punts of 50 4.19, 49 4.3 and 46 4.23. During charting his best balls were 50 4.4, 43 3.92 and 38 4.05. Matthew's "A" ball can compete with pretty much anyone in the nation and he can continue to work on eliminating his worst punts in a set. However I am so pleased and proud of him and can't wait to see how his college career takes shape!

Matthew is an excellent high school kicking and punting prospect. He is a great looking athlete with a strong leg. Matthew does a nice job on field goal, a strength. He hits an accurate ball off the ground and has 50+ yard range. His kickoffs are coming along nicely, nearing college ready. Also a more than capable punter. A competitor who is kicking with confidence. Matthew is very close to earning a 4.5-Star Rating at both positions. College football is in his future with continued hard work. Look for him to do very well at Vegas XLIII in January. Matthew is a fine young man who is always a great pleasure to work with. Nice combo prospect.
