Player Review
Benton is a talented high school kicking and punting prospect. He is big, tall, strong and athletic. Benton does a nice job on field goal. He hits an accurate ball off the ground and has 50+ yard range. His kickoffs are coming along nicely. Benton's best ball measures 60+ yards, with 3.5+ hang time. This is where he needs to hit that next level to jump even further up the rankings. Benton is also developing into a fine punter. He shows that he can hit a D1 ball. He needs to improve his footwork to play at the next level. With continued hard work, Benton will be a great college player. The tools are there to do so. There is nice upside here. Look for Benton to have a big 2023 offseason training with Chris Sailer Kicking. He should do very well at the Rising Seniors Invitational in July. Benton is fine young man who is always a great pleasure to work with. Nice combo prospect.
