Ashton is an outstanding young high school kicking prospect. He is a great looking athlete with a live leg. Ashton does an excellent job on field goal, a strength. He hits a clean ball off the ground, gets the ball up quick and has 55+ yard range. His kickoffs are strong. Ashton drives the ball into the end zone with 4.0+ hang time. Also a more than capable punter. A competitor who excels under pressure. I look forward to seeing what the future holds for Ashton. Look for him to dominate his junior season. Ashton is a very talented combo player. At the recent CA Spring Punt Camp he performed well as a punter. Ashton is a two-step punter with good hands. He is very athletic and shuffles his feet well with snaps outside his frame. During training at camp Ashton hit punts of 34 4.5, 30 4.28 and 31 3.86. He has good pop on the ball and gets up through it well. During charting Ashton hit his two best punts 30 4.03 and 32 3.57. Ashton is a young punter with a very high ceiling. He is very coachable and has a great attitude. I look forward to watching him devleop and grow over the coming months.
