Player Review
Aaron Perez (3-24):Matthew is a very talented combo player who has really come into his own with his punting. At the Spring Seattle Punt camp Matthew was smooth and simple all day. He has put on some good size and really has established a goods rhythm with his punting. During training at camp Matthew hit punts of 43 4.1, 39 4.12 and 38 4.21. During charting his best balls were 36 3.74 and 37 4.0. Matthew should continue to develop going into his freshman year of college and compete for a starting spot wherever he ends up. I am very proud of him!
Matthew is an excellent high school kicking and punting prospect. He is a great looking athlete with a strong leg. Matthew does a nice job on field goal, a strength. He hits a clean, accurate ball off the ground and has 50+ yard range. His kickoffs are solid, college ready. Matthew drives the ball 60+ yards, with 3.8+ hang time. Also a capable punter. A competitor who is growing with confidence. College football is in his future with continued hard work. Look for Matthew to have a big senior season. Matthew is a fine young man who is always a great pleasure to work with. One of the hardest workers out there. Nice prospect.
