Player Review
Lucas is an excellent high school kicking and punting prospect. He is a big, tall, strong athlete who shows nice future college potential. He gets balls up quickly from the ground and has 50+ yard range. His kickoffs are coming along nicely. Also a developing punter. I like his potential in this area of his game. There is nice upside here. With continued hard work, he will be a special player. I look forward to seeing him compete with the best of the best at Vegas XL in May. Lucas has all the tools to be a top level high-school punter. Lucas is a two-step punter with a big leg. During the CA Spring Punt Camp Lucas was in a groove. He hit punts of 44 4.48, 39 4.58 and 42 4.4 during training. He gets the ball off quick and has good, compact footwork. Lucas is also a good holder. During charting Lucas hit two great punts of 47 4.5 and 42 4.46. I would like Lucas to continue to work on his distance and power. However, as I said, Lucas has all the tools and potential to be a big time prospect.
