Player Review
Aaron Perez (4-24):Thomas added a very good Louie ball to his repetoire at the Spring TX Punt Camp. Thomas has great size and is a good athlete overall. He has consistent footwork and a good swing. During training at camp Thomas hit his best balls 43 3.97 and 45 4.03, despite a nasty wind behind him. During charting Thomas hit some Louies and his best balls were 40 3.96, 40 3.9 and 39 4.20. Thomas is very coachable and I think has all the tools to be a good Saturday punter. I look forward to more work.
Thomas is a very talented high school kicking and punting prospect. He is tall, strong and athletic. Thomas does a great job on field goal. He gets the ball up quick off the ground and easily has 50+ yard range. His kickoffs are strong. Thomas is also an excellent punter, a strength. He has a great frame for a college level punter. Thomas punts for a nice combination of distance and hang time. A competitor who is kicking with confidence. I really like his all around upside. Look for Thomas to dominate Vegas XLIV in May. He is a fine young man with a great attitude and work ethic. One of the hardest workers out there. Excellent combo prospect.
