Aaron Perez (10-21):James is a bigtime punting talent from CA who won the 2021 Fall Puntfactory camp. James has a great frame and swing and loads of power that he gets behind his punts. During the training phase of camp, James hit punts of 56 4.69, 52 4.71 and 47 4.94. His directional punts were solid as well. He had a directional left punt go 52 4.52 to the sidelines. James averaged 46.8 on six punts in charting and 4.04 seconds of hangtime. He then won the Head to Head competition and won overcall camp champion. James is a worthy 5-star punter who is definitely a FBS level talent.
James is a very talented high school kicking and punting prospect. He is big, tall, strong and athletic. James does a great job on field goal. He hits a college level ball off the ground. His kickoffs are excellent. James drives the ball 65+ yards, with nice hang time. He also has the size, strength and athleticism to develop into an outstanding punter. He already hits a college level ball and his consistency is improving. I really like his college potential in this area. He has all the tools to be a special combo player. Look for him to dominate his senior season turning the heads of college coaches. I really like his upside. James is a fine young man that is always a great pleasure to work with. Keep your eye on this talented specialist. Strong combo prospect. Excellent pick up for Army.
