Player Review
Aaron Perez (10-21):Matt had a solid day at the Puntfactory Fall FL Camp. Matt has come a long way and is hitting a great ball. During the training phase of camp, Matt hit a lot of punts between 38-43 yards. His best few punts were 35 4.4, 38 4.54 and 41 4.5, Matt also hit a directional left ball 40 4.5 and a right ball 40 4.28. Matt is very coachable and learns quickly. He is also very consistent and strong with drop punts and Louie punts and was hitting them 33-38 yards 4.1+ during our plus-field phase. Overall a great day from Matt and I am excited to continue watching his development.
Matt is an excellent high school kicking prospect. He's a good looking athlete that kicks with nice technique and consistency. His field goals are a strength. He hits a clean ball and easily has 50+ yard range. His kickoffs are solid, nearing college ready. He is a competitor that kicks with confidence. Also a reliable punter. He hits a consistent ball. Look for Matt to have a big senior season and performance at Vegas XXXIX in January. He is a fine young man who is always a great pleasure to work with. Nice combo prospect.
