Player Review
Aaron Perez (5-21):Derek is a talented punter who recently attended the IL PuntFactory Camp. Derek is smooth and has a nice consistent rhythm. He has a good, consistent drop and a good swing. During training at camp, Derek hit his best punts of 55 3.87, 49 3.62 and 57 3.8 with a big wind at his back. Derek is a very focused young man and is very coachable. He averaged 49.3 over six punts during charting as well. Derek can and will continue to develop with consistent training and I look forward to watching his progress over the next months!
Derek is a very talented transfer kicking prospect. He is big, tall, strong and athletic. Derek does a nice job on field goal. He gets the ball up well and has 55+ yard range. His kickoffs are solid. Derek drives the ball 65+ yards, with good hang time. Also a talented punter. He is a fine young man who is always a great pleasure to work with. Strong prospect.
