Player Review
Mason is a very good high school kicking and punting prospect. He is a good looking athlete that shows nice future college potential. Mason does a nice job on field goal, a strength. He hits accurate and has 50+ yard range. His kickoffs are coming along nicely, nearing college ready. Also a more than capable punter. He punts for a nice combination of distance and hang time. Mason is showing steady improvement each time we see him in all areas of his game. I expect him to stay on this path. Mason is a fine young man that is always a great pleasure to work with. He should have a great junior season and compete with the best of the best at Vegas XXXIX in January. Nice combo prospect.Aaron Perez (10/20) Punting Evaluation
"Mason attended the TX Punting Camp and had a solid day. Mason is a combo player who is beginning to really focus on his punting. He has a great attitude and was a very good listener at camp. During the training portion of camp, Mason hit several punts right around 35 yards. He also consistently hit punts with 3.5 seconds of hangtime. When we worked on operation time, Mason was able to get a few punts off under 1.5 seconds catch to kick. I look forward to Mason’s continued improvement as he begins to focus more on punting. Mason should do very well at the upcoming Las Vegas Events."
