Player Review
Solid move up in the rankings for Casillas after what I saw out of him at VEGAS XXIX on January 14-15, 2017. He is a strong Long Snapper with powerful hands and good starting form. Love to see him focus on not hitching the ball so much and making sure he is driving his elbows. This will help with creating more whip and speed on the ball. Also, increasing his athleticism will help a ton in making him move up the rankings and be more college ready next year. Works hard.Casillas showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXVII Event on January 21-22, 2016. He is a thick Long Snapper that has good form. Creates some good power and speed on the ball when it is spiraling and he doesn't hit his elbows on his knees. That would be like someone tipping a shot in basketball. Still can go in, but not as pretty and definitely not as much speed. Love to see him focus on making he tightens up a bit and gets more athletic to become a factor heading down field. TRUSTING his good form will help as well. Some of his best snaps were when he simply just let the ball fly out of his hands. Hard worker.

All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality.
