Player Review
Zane was off the charts at the Rubio Long Snapping fall camp in GA on December 18th, 2016. He has been with Rubio Long Snapping for quite some time and it is very apparent with his form. Kid rips the ball back to the punter and didn't have one single snap that even sniffed .80 all day long! That is VERY impressive for someone his age. Handles pressure as well as anyone I have ever worked with at his age. He has come VERY close to winning camps over the past two years! I would love to see him keep focused on gaining some size and making sure he is gaining speed from his lower half instead of trying to muscle the ball with his hands (hitch). Now, let's see how Zane handles the pressure at VEGAS XXIX...I have a feeling he will embrace it.
Accomplishments
VEGAS XXIX Average 15 Yard Snap Speed: .88
VEGAS XXIX 40 Time: 5.30
VEGAS XXIX RSI (Rubio Standard Index) from the Rubio Target: 7.06

All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality.

RSI (Rubio Standard Index): The RSI is the score divided by the average speed on The Rubio Target. You may obtain 2 bonus points for an average of .75-.79, 2 more bonus points for an average of .70-.74 and an additional 2 more bonus points if you average below .70.
