Cobb did well at the Rubio Long Snapping fall camp in NC on November 20th, 2016. He is built long with a frame that can put on some good lbs over the next couple of years in HS. Follow through is really good and I love how well he reaches back to the punter. Slow motion drills will help a ton in getting his lower half fully involved to gain more speed on the ball and get him under 1.00 by VEGAS XXIX. Good movement athletically. Solid attitude. Upside.

All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality.
RSI (Rubio Standard Index): The RSI is the score divided by the average speed on The Rubio Target. You may obtain 2 bonus points for an average of .75-.79, 2 more bonus points for an average of .70-.74 and an additional 2 more bonus points if you average below .70.
