Player Review
Zach showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXIX Event on January 14-15, 2017. He is a thick and strong Long Snapper that snaps with good raw power. Love how he just lets the ball rip out of his hands. Like to see Zach focus on slow motion drills to get his lower half fully involved to gain a better fluidity on his snapping motion to ensure he gets more of his lower half is involved to really get his speed up. He has power throughout his snapping and movement, and, if he can learn to just control it a bit better by VEGAS 30, he could easily find a TOP 12 Camp spot. Lots of potential on Zach
Accomplishments
VEGAS XXIX Average 15 Yard Snap Speed: .88
VEGAS XXIX 40 Time: 5.78
VEGAS XXIX RSI (Rubio Standard Index) from the Rubio Target: 14.12

All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality.

RSI (Rubio Standard Index): The RSI is the score divided by the average speed on The Rubio Target. You may obtain 2 bonus points for an average of .75-.79, 2 more bonus points for an average of .70-.74 and an additional 2 more bonus points if you average below .70.
