Player Review
Nice jump in the rankings for Rhodes and well deserved after what I saw of him at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXIX Event on January 14-15, 2017. He has a nice frame and good flexibility for his size. Love how well Rhodes reaches back to the punter. By March 5th in CA, I would love to see Rhodes get his back just a bit flatter to the ground and really make sure he is getting his strong legs involved in the process. Built well and I want him to use all of his body to create more speed on the ball to raise his RSI up at VEGAS 30 in May. Slow motion drills will assist in this a ton by then. Athletically, I want to see Rhodes get a bit lower and not run so high so his center of gravity is lower. TONS of potential on Rhodes and I like the direction he is headed.
Accomplishments
VEGAS XXIX Average 15 Yard Snap Speed: .89
VEGAS XXIX 40 Time: 5.74
VEGAS XXIX RSI (Rubio Standard Index) from the Rubio Target: 12.79

All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality.

RSI (Rubio Standard Index): The RSI is the score divided by the average speed on The Rubio Target. You may obtain 2 bonus points for an average of .75-.79, 2 more bonus points for an average of .70-.74 and an additional 2 more bonus points if you average below .70.
