Player Review
Michael showed me some great things at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXIX Event on January 14-15, 2017. He has a good frame and can move like an athlete forward to the ball. Good aggression on the tackling section of the weekend. Athletically, I would like to see him lower his center of gravity a bit more to make moving laterally a bit easier for him. Snapping wise, when Michael is on, he is REALLY on and can dominate his class. Love to see him focus on getting his eyes all the way through with each snap. When he gets his eyes/head through, he is unstoppable and could easily earn a TOP 12 spot at VEGAS 30 this May. Potential is off the charts for Michael. Keep a very close eye on him. Raising his RSI will be key.
Accomplishments
VEGAS XXIX Average 15 Yard Snap Speed: .81
VEGAS XXIX 40 Time: 4.98
VEGAS XXIX RSI (Rubio Standard Index) from the Rubio Target: 12.05

All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality.

RSI (Rubio Standard Index): The RSI is the score divided by the average speed on The Rubio Target. You may obtain 2 bonus points for an average of .75-.79, 2 more bonus points for an average of .70-.74 and an additional 2 more bonus points if you average below .70.
