Kaye showed me some really good things at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXIX Event on January 14-15, 2017. His hands are like rockets and he can get the ball out of the gate very quickly. Form is good and he snaps with power. Overall speed is solid for his feet and his snapping. Needs to make sure he gets his eyes through in one motion to ensure more accuracy and get his RSI up at VEGAS 30 in May. Love the power he snaps with and once he locks down his accuracy (eyes will get this to happen), he will move way up the charts. Hard worker.

All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality.
RSI (Rubio Standard Index): The RSI is the score divided by the average speed on The Rubio Target. You may obtain 2 bonus points for an average of .75-.79, 2 more bonus points for an average of .70-.74 and an additional 2 more bonus points if you average below .70.
