Player Review
Dominic did well at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXIX Event on January 14-15, 2017. He is a very thick and strong Long Snapper that does a really good job of getting his upper body all the way through to the punter. Legs get involved in the process well and he will be able to snap a bit quicker once his timing is locked down. Consistency of his snapping motion will be key. Built big and I want him to use all of his lower instead of thinking he needs to wind up to snap the ball. Eliminating the slight hitch and increasing his athleticism will push him way up the ladder come VEGAS 30.
Accomplishments
VEGAS XXIX Average 15 Yard Snap Speed: .84
VEGAS XXIX 40 Time: 5.16
VEGAS XXIX RSI (Rubio Standard Index) from the Rubio Target: 20.24

All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality.

RSI (Rubio Standard Index): The RSI is the score divided by the average speed on The Rubio Target. You may obtain 2 bonus points for an average of .75-.79, 2 more bonus points for an average of .70-.74 and an additional 2 more bonus points if you average below .70.
