Player Review
I really liked what I saw out of Lassiter at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXIX Event on January 14-15, 2017. Kid flew through the agility station and made it look effortless. Definitely going to be a factor on punt coverage as he is so smooth and moves with aggression. If Lassiter can lock down his spiral and continue to put on some weight, he could EASILY move into a TOP 12 position at VEGAS 30. He is VERY good and bordering on great. Keep a very close eye on him at GA and VEGAS 30.Accomplishments
VEGAS XXIX Average 15 Yard Snap Speed: .80VEGAS XXIX 40 Time: 5.23
VEGAS XXIX RSI (Rubio Standard Index) from the Rubio Target: 31.88
All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality.
RSI (Rubio Standard Index): The RSI is the score divided by the average speed on The Rubio Target. You may obtain 2 bonus points for an average of .75-.79, 2 more bonus points for an average of .70-.74 and an additional 2 more bonus points if you average below .70.
