Player Review
I liked what I saw out of Jake at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXIX Event on January 14-15, 2017. He is an athletic Long Snapper that had no trouble with the agility section of the weekend. Easily one of the more athletic Long Snappers in his class. Looks effortless going forward or side to side. Starting form is good and he gets some good power from his lower half when snapping the ball to the punter. Love to see Jake focus on making sure he is quicker out of the gate to increase the speed of his ball and raise his RSI up at VEGAS 30. He is good and should be eyeballing a TOP 12 Camp invite in May.
Accomplishments
VEGAS XXIX Average 15 Yard Snap Speed: .82
VEGAS XXIX 40 Time: 4.93
VEGAS XXIX RSI (Rubio Standard Index) from the Rubio Target: 28.77

All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality.

RSI (Rubio Standard Index): The RSI is the score divided by the average speed on The Rubio Target. You may obtain 2 bonus points for an average of .75-.79, 2 more bonus points for an average of .70-.74 and an additional 2 more bonus points if you average below .70.
