Player Review
Casasante was one of the most impressive Long Snappers at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXIX Event on January 14-15, 2017. He came out of nowhere and was talked about by all instructors on site. He was throwing MASSIVE heat (clocked him in the low .6s at times!) and moved quickly on his feet. Form is good and he listens well. For him to be a 5 Star Rubio Long Snapper by VEGAS 30, I would love to see him control his ball a bit more since it does come so fast and make sure he puts on some size. He is definitely slight right now and will need some good lbs put on to be a truly viable candidate for college. Bottom line, Casasante has massive upside and can dominate his class.Accomplishments

VEGAS XXIX RSI (Rubio Standard Index) from the Rubio Target: 39.71
All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality.
RSI (Rubio Standard Index): The RSI is the score divided by the average speed on The Rubio Target. You may obtain 2 bonus points for an average of .75-.79, 2 more bonus points for an average of .70-.74 and an additional 2 more bonus points if you average below .70.
