Player Review
Hooper did well at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXIX Event on January 14-15, 2017. He is an athlete that ran with aggression during the agility section of the weekend. Ball is smooth and he has good, quick hands. The ball does a nice job of getting out of the gate. Love to see Hooper lower his butt more to get more speed on the ball and also make sure he is not so stiff when moving forward and laterally. I want to see his aggression and power get used for his snapping and running. He is really close to just crushing his class and should be able to get a TOP 12 Camp spot at VEGAS 30 if he can put it all together.
Accomplishments
VEGAS XXIX Average 15 Yard Snap Speed: .76
VEGAS XXIX 40 Time: 5.61
VEGAS XXIX RSI (Rubio Standard Index) from the Rubio Target: 23.68

All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality.
