Christian showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXIX Event on January 14-15, 2017. Built long with a frame that could hold another forty pounds by the time he ends his college career. The potential on Christian is off the charts and he is one of the few Long Snappers that was on my short list of "almost" TOP 12er. CONSISTENCY of his snap speed and his ACCURACY will be the big things I will be checking for at VEGAS 30 in May. Moves really well on his feet and now I need him to snap just as well. Trust me, Christian is the real deal and will dominate very soon if he works hard and smart. Keep a very close eye on him.

All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality.

RSI (Rubio Standard Index): The RSI is the score divided by the average speed on The Rubio Target. You may obtain 2 bonus points for an average of .75-.79, 2 more bonus points for an average of .70-.74 and an additional 2 more bonus points if you average below .70.
