Player Review
Vega showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXIX Event on January 14-15, 2017. Potential for Vega is off the charts. He was a bit under the weather so he didn't run the agility course but I know for a fact he can flat out fly and can be a major factor on the punt coverage team. As he continues to grow, Vega will have to widen out his stand so he can get his chest through with more ease. This will really help out his accuracy and improve his RSI by the regional camp in GA and definitely at VEGAS 30 in May. His goal should be the first TOP 12 Spot in May.
Accomplishments
VEGAS XXIX Average 15 Yard Snap Speed: .71
VEGAS XXIX RSI (Rubio Standard Index) from the Rubio Target: 18.60

All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality.

RSI (Rubio Standard Index): The RSI is the score divided by the average speed on The Rubio Target. You may obtain 2 bonus points for an average of .75-.79, 2 more bonus points for an average of .70-.74 and an additional 2 more bonus points if you average below .70.
