Player Review
Morton showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXIX Event on January 14-15, 2017. He is a very smooth Long Snapper that has good consistency with his snaps to the punter and/or the holder. Moves pretty well on his feet. Love to see Morton focus on not dragging the ball as that will slow it down to the punter. Also, making sure he trusts his good form enough to really let the ball fly out of his hands. Beyond smooth and now I want to see him almost rage when he snaps in NC in March and VEGAS 30 in May. Increasing the speed of his snap and his feet will be key
Accomplishments
VEGAS XXIX Average 15 Yard Snap Speed: 1.05
VEGAS XXIX 40 Time: 6.39
VEGAS XXIX RSI (Rubio Standard Index) from the Rubio Target: 21.43

All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality.

RSI (Rubio Standard Index): The RSI is the score divided by the average speed on The Rubio Target. You may obtain 2 bonus points for an average of .75-.79, 2 more bonus points for an average of .70-.74 and an additional 2 more bonus points if you average below .70.
