Player Review
Cody did well at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXIX Event on January 14-15, 2017. Kid is absolutely dripping with potential and has great upside. Built long and has room to put on about forty pounds in college. When Cody is on, he is REALLY on and can definitely snap at the next level. CONSISTENCY is going to be the big thing for him as we move forward. No more ups and downs....just focusing on keeping the same snapping motion every time to lock down his accuracy and D1 snaps.
Accomplishments
VEGAS XXIX Average 15 Yard Snap Speed: .82
VEGAS XXIX 40 Time: 5.21
VEGAS XXIX RSI (Rubio Standard Index) from the Rubio Target: 12.99

All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality.

RSI (Rubio Standard Index): The RSI is the score divided by the average speed on The Rubio Target. You may obtain 2 bonus points for an average of .75-.79, 2 more bonus points for an average of .70-.74 and an additional 2 more bonus points if you average below .70.
