Player Review
Crabtree did really well at VEGAS XXIX on January 13-14, 2017. He is a Long Snapper that is built really well that runs very hard and has solid aggression. He was impressive on the agility section of the weekend in Vegas. I would love to see him get fully set on each to snap to lock down his accuracy and consistency. His hands are EXTREMELY quick and powerful. Crabtree gets the ball out of the gate like it's his job. Right now, he doesn't even use his whole body and still rips the ball back to the punter. Once his legs are FULLY involved, it wouldn't surprise me to see him snap in the low .6s CONSISTENTLY. Incredible upside on Crabtree.

Crabtree had a very solid day at the Rubio Long Snapping fall camp in PA on October 9th, 2016. His body is solid and he can pass an eyeball test quickly. Ball is powerful back to the punter and his hands are really quick. Love to see him focus on lowering his butt a bit more to gain more speed on the ball. He hovers in the mid .7s but with his frame, I know he can be in the .6s by VEGAS XXIX if not sooner. Also, locking down his spiral will help a ton with speed and catchability. Love his attitude. Laid back and smart Long Snapper from MA.

Crabtree did really well at the TOP 12 & EVENT ELITE Camp at the IMG Academy in FL. He is large Long Snapper with good upper body power. Smooth and quick snap that is right on with his accuracy. Love to see him get his large lower half down a bit more to ensure more overall speed on the ball. Tends to keep his butt up and rush the process just a tad. Settling and really exploding will get him in the .6s and be more accurate as well. Just about to hit his stride. I would bet by XXIX, he dominates the whole thing.

VEGAS XXIX Average 15 Yard Snap Speed: .71
VEGAS XXIX 40 Time: 5.20
VEGAS XXIX RSI (Rubio Standard Index) from the Rubio Target: 49.30

All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality.

RSI (Rubio Standard Index): The RSI is the score divided by the average speed on The Rubio Target. You may obtain 2 bonus points for an average of .75-.79, 2 more bonus points for an average of .70-.74 and an additional 2 more bonus points if you average below .70.
