Player Review
Hathoot was off the charts at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXIX EVENT on January 14-15, 2017. Easily one of the most athletic Long Snappers in attendance throughout the weekend. Extremely fluid when he is moving on his feet and makes all movement look effortless. He handled pressure as well as anyone on the field at any time. His form is very good and he hovers right in the mid .7s at all times. Hathoot improves literally every single time I see him and doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon. He might be the sleeper of his class and end up dominating over the next four years. Great attitude.

VEGAS XXIX Average 15 Yard Snap Speed: .76
VEGAS XXIX RSI (Rubio Standard Index) from the Rubio Target: 51.47

All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality.
