Player Review
Fontana showed me some really good things at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXIX Event on January 14-15, 2017. He is a thick and strong Long Snapper with powerful hands. Balance is good and he snaps with power. Easily can get the ball under .80 at 15 yards. Needs to make sure he can get his release point locked down to increase his accuracy and raise his RSI at VEGAS 30. Accuracy and increasing his athleticism will be the big things I am looking to see improvement on at VEGAS 30. Student of the game.
Accomplishments
VEGAS XXIX Average 15 Yard Snap Speed: .78
VEGAS XXIX 40 Time: 5.96
VEGAS XXIX RSI (Rubio Standard Index) from the Rubio Target: 23.38

All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality.

RSI (Rubio Standard Index): The RSI is the score divided by the average speed on The Rubio Target. You may obtain 2 bonus points for an average of .75-.79, 2 more bonus points for an average of .70-.74 and an additional 2 more bonus points if you average below .70.
