Player Review
Hatcher showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXIX Event on January 14-15, 2017. He is a thick and strong Long Snapper that can move well going forward. Love to see Hatcher focus on improving his lateral movement and making sure he gets his eyes through quicker while whipping his elbows on punt snaps. Sounds like a lot, but they are easy fixes and will make him a monster at VEGAS 30. Very good potential.Accomplishments
VEGAS XXIX Average 15 Yard Snap Speed: .79VEGAS XXIX 40 Time: 5.22
VEGAS XXIX RSI (Rubio Standard Index) from the Rubio Target: 13.95
All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality.
RSI (Rubio Standard Index): The RSI is the score divided by the average speed on The Rubio Target. You may obtain 2 bonus points for an average of .75-.79, 2 more bonus points for an average of .70-.74 and an additional 2 more bonus points if you average below .70.
