Player Review
Raines did well at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXIX Event on January 14-15, 2017. He is a smooth Long Snapper with excellent form. His hands are quick and he is using his whole body really well. Snap speeds are good and he has solid accuracy. The more he can trust his body and increase his athleticism, the more he will move up the rankings. RSI is solid and will be dominant the more he gets his eyes through. Type of Long Snapper that is so fluid that it wouldn't surprise me at all to see him with VEGAS 30 in May. Athleticism will be key. Right on the cusp of greatness.
Accomplishments
VEGAS XXIX Average 15 Yard Snap Speed: .77
VEGAS XXIX 40 Time: 5.66
VEGAS XXIX RSI (Rubio Standard Index) from the Rubio Target: 34.72

All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality.

RSI (Rubio Standard Index): The RSI is the score divided by the average speed on The Rubio Target. You may obtain 2 bonus points for an average of .75-.79, 2 more bonus points for an average of .70-.74 and an additional 2 more bonus points if you average below .70.
