Player Review
Chase did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXIX Event on January 14-15, 2017. He is a massive Long Snapper with a ton of power on the ball. Once the ball releases from his hands, it flies back to the punter. Chase needs to make sure he is not breaking the snapping motion into two different motions. Tends to rise up and then explode back to the punter. If he can get his large frame going straight back, he would EASILY average under .75 and crank up his RSI at VEGAS 30. Working on his athleticism by May will also help his ranking. Chase is sitting on a gold mine. Big jump and well deserved.

Chase showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping fall camp in NC on November 20, 2016. He is a strong Long Snapper with very nice size. I really like his starting form and his balance is solid. Love to see him focus on making sure he is not lifting the ball so much prior to the snap to gain speed. Slow motion drills to ensure he is using his lower half more will get him a lot more speed on the ball then lifting it up. Tiny fix that will help Chase a ton by the time we hit VEGAS XXIX.
Accomplishments
VEGAS XXIX Average 15 Yard Snap Speed: .83
VEGAS XXIX 40 Time: 5.67
VEGAS XXIX RSI (Rubio Standard Index) from the Rubio Target: 13.64

All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality.

RSI (Rubio Standard Index): The RSI is the score divided by the average speed on The Rubio Target. You may obtain 2 bonus points for an average of .75-.79, 2 more bonus points for an average of .70-.74 and an additional 2 more bonus points if you average below .70.
