Player Review

Spencer did well at the Rubio Long Snapping spring camp in NC on March 13, 2016. He is large Long Snapper with powerful hands. Love to see him speed up the initial process and not lift the ball so much when he snaps. The hitch will trigger the timer as well as the defender. Driving straight back with his elbows will help right off the bat and will make him snap, easily, in the .8s by XXVIII in May. Very good student of Long Snapping.

Spencer showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXVII Event on January 21-22, 2016. He has good size and he is a true student of the art of Long Snapping. Starting form should be raised up a bit (back parallel to the ground) in order to get his legs fully involved and get max power from his lower half. Needs to get his head all the way through to become even more accurate and consistent (pretty darn accurate right now). Really like his attitude and he has good upside. Big move in the rankings.
