Player Review
Vinson did well at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXIX Event on January 14-15, 2017. He has a good frame and snaps one of the most catchable balls in the country. His ball is very smooth and his punter will love him in HS and college. Size is good and he moves with passion. Like to see Vinson work on snapping with more confidence to gain more speed to raise his RSI at VEGAS 30 in May. Also, being able to move with more fluidity on his feet will help him move up the rankings. Very good attitude and lots of upside. Should be able to position himself nicely for a TOP 12 Camp spot with more speed on the ball.
Accomplishments
VEGAS XXIX Average 15 Yard Snap Speed: .81
VEGAS XXIX 40 Time: 5.39
VEGAS XXIX RSI (Rubio Standard Index) from the Rubio Target: 18.99

All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality.

RSI (Rubio Standard Index): The RSI is the score divided by the average speed on The Rubio Target. You may obtain 2 bonus points for an average of .75-.79, 2 more bonus points for an average of .70-.74 and an additional 2 more bonus points if you average below .70.
