Player Review
Edwards did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXIX Event on January 14-15, 2017. He is easily one of the top athletes in his class and absolutely crushed the agility section of the camp. When Edwards is on, he is REALLY on and is easily the top kid in his class. Biggest issue he has right now is his consistency of his snapping motion which greatly impacts his accuracy (as shown below with his RSI). Once he can lock down his snapping motion and make it the same over and over, he will be a 5 Star Rubio Long Snapper. The potential for Edwards is off the charts. He is a tremendous multi sport athlete that could be top Long Snapper in the country....EASILY

VEGAS XXIX RSI (Rubio Standard Index) from the Rubio Target: 15.66

All Long Snappers were tested on The Rubio Target. Each Long Snapper was tested on 12 punt snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set) and 12 pat snaps where they had three normal snaps, three blocking left, three blocking right, three speed punt snaps (running in from the side and have three seconds to get the ball off once their feet are set). Once the Long Snapper has completed the test, they earn an RSI which is the fairest and most accurate way to judge a Long Snapper by numbers. Please note: the RSI does not account for athleticism, spiral or mentality.

RSI (Rubio Standard Index): The RSI is the score divided by the average speed on The Rubio Target. You may obtain 2 bonus points for an average of .75-.79, 2 more bonus points for an average of .70-.74 and an additional 2 more bonus points if you average below .70.
